No power? No problem! The battery power smoke detector hidden camera can collect both audio and visual evidence while you are away from your home or business. It has rechargeable batteries that can operate the unit in standby mode for one month on a single charge.

The camera is activated by motion detection. The camera will turn on as soon as human body heat is detected within 30 feet. Then, the unit will power off, five minutes after no body heat is detected, saving your battery life.

Your audio and visual recording are stored on an SD Card that is hidden inside the smoke detector. To playback simply insert the SD card into your computer or laptop. Download the video or you can watch it on your favorite media player.

The federal law indicates that covert audio listening devices can only be used by government agencies. If you are not affiliated with such agencies, only lawful way of operating audio listening devices is to use it within the supervision of authorized agencies such as law enforcements or use in a non-surreptitious way. For example, you can listen in to your babysitter using a nanny camera with audio upgrade but you have to let the person know that he or she would be subjected to audio listening device at your home.
