My Windows (Vista) didn't have the proper codec's installed to view the avi video files and listen to the audio files in windows media player. If you are having a similar problem you can get this file off the internet to update your operating system. Using the pack enables you to play all major video and audio formats in Windows Media Player, without the need for an extra player.

PS. Don't worry about the included CD. You really do not need it.
After the codec was installed my camera worked very well.
